Senior Day at RHS

Some Rockdale High School graduating seniors picked up $383,492 in scholarships last Wednesday in the Senior Day Awards ceremony in the high school gym. The awards and those who received them are:

• Rockdale Fair Association Scholarship—Emma Roberts $750.

• Bill Vogelpohl Scholarship—Mason Hendrix $750.

• Rockdale Fair Queen—Hannah Delz $1,000, Arianna Eastridge $500.

• Billy Joe Hall Memorial FFA Scholarship—Mason Hendrix $1,000.

• Louise Hale Session Memorial Scholarship - Matinee Musical Club— Arianna Eastridge $500.

• Milam County Area Go Texan—Arianna Eastridge $2,000.

• Aycock High School Class of 1956—Alondra Rubio $500.

• Rockdale Noon Lions Club Scholarship—Hannah Delz, Perla Perez, Enrique Rivera, Kailtyn Rash, Arianna Eastridge and Mason Hendrix received $500 each.

• Rockdale Chamber of Commerce—Richard Eubank $500, Arianna Eastridge $500.

• Rockdale Masonic Lodge—Richard Eubank $2,000.

• Tom Martin Masonic Memorial Scholarship—Mason Hendrix $1,000.

• New Salem 4-year Academic—Emma Roberts, Mason Hendrix and Enrique Rivera received $1,000 each.

• Parsley/Roddam Scholarship—Riley Henderson $500, Mason Hendrix $500.

• Joe Wayne Cleveland Memorial Scholarship—Lauren Rangel $1,000.

• Rockdale Tiger Booster Club Scholarship—Eddie Klekar $1,000.

• Matt Lehmkuhl Memorial Scholarship—Lauren Rangel $1,000.

• Alpha Tau Delta—Enrique Rivera, Riley Henderson and Mackenzie Musto received $250 each.

• Rotary Club Academic Scholarship—Mason Hendrix, McKade Casas, Arianna Eastridge, Kaitlyn Rash and Hannah Delz received $2,000 each.

• Service above Self Award—Richard Eubanks $100, Arianna Eastridge $100.

• Bartlett Electric Lawrence Karl Memorial Scholarship—McKade Casas $1,500.
