THEY WON IT

THEY WON IT—Last week they were playing on the sidewalks of Rockdale (above). This week they were in Fort Worth winning a major award (left). Treble Soul, composed of Hanna Prestridge and Curt Jones, were nominated for Duo of the Year at the Texas Country Music Awards and won over Shotgun Rider, Tex Westus, The Tecas and Hannah & Hailey. Last year as noted in The Reporter, Treble Soul attracted the attention of Darius Rucker and appeared on the first celebrity edition of the television show “Undercover Boss.” Since then, they’ve played nonstop through Texas, Louisiana, and California. Their new EP, “Truth,” will be out before the holidays.
