THIRD PLACE—Troy Gomez and Inez Arroyo of Rockdale took third place in the 14th Annual Horseshoe Pitching contest at the 71st annual McDade Watermelon Festival in McDade last weekend. The money raised from the festival helps local schools in the form of grants to teachers to help their class rooms and a variety of youth programs.
