As one school year ends, the beginning of a new one is just a summer away. So preparation for the coming school year is already underway in some corners of the area.
The VFW Auxiliary Post 6525 in Rockdale is now accepting donations for its 2021 School Supplies Drive. Once all the supplies are gathered they will be handed out July 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the post headquarters on U.S. 79.
