Gloria Darby Bishop, 72, passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, 2026.
Gloria was born Oct. 21, 1953, to the late Lee Roy Darby and Anni e Pekar Darby.
She was a devoted mothe r, grandmother and sister whose love for her family defined her life.
Gloria is survived by her loving son, Brian Dennis, and his wife, Lindsay.
She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Preston and Taylor Dennis, who were truly the light of her life.
She will also be deeply missed by her siblings, Charlotte Mueck and her husband, Joe; Gary Darby and his wife, Jody; and Jody Darby and his wife, Jean.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bishop.
Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale hosted services for Gloria on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026.
Burial immediately followed at Oaklawn Cemetery in Rockdale.
