Glade H. Lantz, 96, of Rockdale died Friday, Jan. 23, 2026.
Se r v ices will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at First Presbyterian Church in Rockdale.
Mr. Lantz was born on Dec. 29, 1929, in Franklin, Pennsylvania to Floyd Herman Lantz and Christena Elizabeth McDowell Lantz.
He married Lois (Schumacher) Lantz in 1958 at Congregational Church in Massena, New York.
Mr. Lantz graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from Grove City College in Pennsylvania.
He served in the U.S. Army in the 1950s.
Mr. Lantz worked as a chemical engineer for Alcoa for 44 years in Tennessee, New York, Australia and Texas. He retired at the age of 65 in Rockdale.
Mr. Lantz was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois Lantz, on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016; son Carl Lantz; and a sister, Doris Lantz Hughes; and a brother, Raymond Lantz. Survivors are his children, Martha Lantz (Mark) of Minnesota, Susan Maldonado (Bernardo) of Texas, Eric Lantz (Brenda) of Texas; late-in-life partner, Patricia McKee of Rockdale; also, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
