Dear editor, Earlier this year, during the month of February, this region experienced an unusual period of freezing weather with ice and snow, lingering for over a week. If you are homeless in Milam County, you can navigate much of life, and perhaps remain “hidden” during most times.

Milam County is on the move again and I have lots of good news to share. PANDEMIC—We are making steady progress to recover from the pandemic. We estimate that 38 percent of the county has immunity and about 30 percent are fully vaccinated.
