I feel ancient some days. And then I feel great some days. My body is a COVID-19 yoyo. My diet has gone out the window. What is heart healthy? It’s like I’ve never heard of it. I’ll allow it for a while since eating is my favorite activity.

On Monday, April 6, the Milam County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to continue with a shelter-in-place order for Milam County. The order will remain in effect until May 4, unless the infection rate is substantially lowered.

100 YEARS AGO.... Fire Chief A. P. Perry Jr. stepped down after 15 years at the head of the Rockdale VFD. Perry remained on the force, the final charter member of the department. Firefighters chose Perry Diehl to replace as the new chief.
