April 8 will bring us all an opportunity to view a total solar eclipse, the next eclipse occurred Aug. 23, 2044. This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for many people.

I’ve had questions about what the requirements are for District Attorneys in Texas, so I’d like to visit about that for a bit here. Under state law, they must be at least 18 years of age, and a Texas resident for a minimum of one year before running for D.A.
