Aggie Moms looking for help

The Milam County Aggie Moms are $1,400 dollars short of completely funding their endowment with the TAMU Foundation. The endowment ensures scholarships for Milam County students for as long as the University exists.

Three receive scholarships from Fair Association

The Rockdale Fair Association presented their scholarships to these three young ladies last week. Hannah Bakken, daughter of Buck and Marie Bakken, graduated from Milano High School and plans to attend Texas A&M majoring in education.

Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library has some fun activities coming up for kids in the month of June. “What is a Dinosaur” presented by A&M paleontologist Liam Norris will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 12. Norris will bring some fossils of dinosaurs and a show and tell.
