Rockdale Community Homecoming is fast approaching. Scheduled for Sunday, June 14, at the KC Hall. The honored family this year is the family of Harold and Martha Parsley, deceased, whose family lives in Rockdale. Also honored will be the graduates of Rockdale High School classes 2001, 1976 and 1951.

RHS graduates 123 students Friday

Rockdale High School’s 2026 graduation was held Friday night at Tiger Field starting off with processional of the students entering the field while “pomp and Circumstance” was played by the Big Blue Band under the direction of Samuel Long, Jr.

MARC Ride fundraiser to be held June 14th

MARC Ride fundraiser to be held June 14th

The 25th annual MARC Ride will take place on June 13 at The Ranch. The ride is the largest fundraiser the center receives. In 24 years, the ride has raised $618,000. R ide reg ist ration begins at 9 a.m. and the first bikes will leave at 11 a.m. The fee is $20 per rider or $25 with a passenger.

Rotary Club’s ‘Project Cool’

Rockdale Rotary Club will be actively collecting donations of 20-inch new box fans and/or cash starting May 18 and running through June 12.. This is an annual event created by the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center several years ago.
