Ithink I’m going to skip Easter next year (not the resurrection part). I’m already not a fan of the “holidays.” Thanksgiving and Christmas tend to let me down and if I hear, “Jesus is the reason for the season” one more time I might sit down and cry.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month; event Thursday

            April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. On Thurs. April 13 at 10 a.m., the Children’s Advocacy Center of Central Texas, Milam County CPS Board and inaugural members of the CCASA of Milam County will host a countywide awareness event at the Milam County Courthouse in Cameron.
