Rockdale officers arrest three on felony warrants

Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests during the past seven days including: • Kiki Ali Cashaw, 38, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday by Ofc. Lentz for possession of controlled substance (less than 1 gram) and possession of marijuana (less than 2 ounces).

Rockdale VFD Responded to: • Gil’s Game Room on East Cameron Avenue for a report of a fire under a vehicle on Friday, but upon arriving there was no fire.   • 315 Sanford Street for a structure fire on Saturday.   • 314 Sierra Drive to put out a controlled burn on Saturday.

Rockdale MLK Day march held Sunday

Rockdale’s MLK Day celebration was held on Sunday. The march started at Wolf Park and ended at Sumuel Park where refreshments of juice, sodas and grilled hot dogs were waiting for the marchers.
