Each year, we honor those 4-H members who have excelled in their projects, leadership and contests throughout the year. These young men and women have worked hard to achieve great accomplishments at the County, District, and State Levels.

FIRE CALLS

Milano VFD Responded to: • US 79 and CR 346 for an accident on Saturday. Thorndale VFD Responded to: • 100 block of South Broadway for a transformer on fire on Sunday.

Four felony arrests made by RPD, one accident reported

Rockdale Police Officers made four felony arrests during the past week including: • Jaime Perez Jr., 18, Austin, was arrested on Tuesday for unauthorized use of motor vehicle. • Zykia Flowers, 18, Waco, was arrested on Thursday for two charges of credit/debit card abuse.

No complaints about abundance of rain

Many of us have been blessed with an abundance of rain. The three hour half-time at the Aggie’s game was a bit much, but I refuse to complain about the rain. COOKIE DOUGH— Milano seniors are selling cookie dough to help pay for their senior trip in May.

At Friday night’s game against Taylor the seniors were recognized as well as these two band members being recognized. Congratulations to this year’s Band Beau and Band Sweetheart, William Davenport and Alyssa Thompson.

Celebrate Recovery meets Saturdays Rockda le Celebrate Recovery meets Saturdays from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at 1443 South FM 487. Keto support group meets Thursdays at 7 A keto support group meets at the First Baptist Church’s south entrance every Thursday at 7 p.m.

REUNIONS

RHS Class of ’64 The RHS Class of 1964 will hold a reunion/class get-together on Oct. 4 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Rockdale Country Club. The event will include hamburgers with all the fixings for $8.50. Water and iced tea will be provided with the meal.
