Zain Taylor and Kelvin Ortega were indicted by a Milam County Grand Jury for aggravated assault after shooting two teens at an after-prom party in Milano in May. The Mi lam Count y Sheriff’s Office on May 15 announced two people had been detained in connection with the shooting.

Former Cameron police officer indicted

James N. Sherer, 40, of Cameron, formerly employed as a sergeant at Cameron Police Department, was indicted by the Milam County Grand Jury today for third-degree felony, tampering with evidence.
