Milam County breaks highest record of COVID cases

Today, we set a record high number of cases since COVID-19 began in March 2020 at 320 confirmed, active cases in the county. This is 53 more cases than the previous record high of 267 set back in December 2020.  We have 125 new confirmed, active cases in the county with 64 discharged cases.

Milano VFD chili supper February 19

The Milano Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual chili supper at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at the fire station. Adults tickets are $10 and children under 12 are $5. The supper includes chili, beans, all the fixings, dessert and tea. Gun fundraiser tickets are still available.
