DPS adds 2 to most wanted; 1 with Rockdale ties

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added two men to the state’s Most Wanted lists. Joshua Dee Daniels is now on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list with a cash reward of up to $7,500 for information leading to his arrest.

Police arrest two on felonies in past week

On Aug. 12., Officer Christian Fain arrested a 27-yearold Rockdale man at 10:09 p.m. on charges of possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams) and forgery by passing. A Rockdale man was arrested Sunday at 10:47 a.m.

SUNFLOWER FUN RUN/WALK—The Melodie Hope Jones Memorial Scholarship “Sunflower Fun Run/ Walk” will be held Sept. 25 at Davidson Creek Park in Caldwell. There is a kids’ one-mile color run at 9 a.m. and the 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $30 for the 5K and $25 for the kids run.

Area 4-H clubs are ready for new members to meet

The 4-H year will be here before you know it. Enrollment starts Sept 1 and some of the 4-H clubs are already meeting and preparing for the new year. The Milam County community clubs are Cameron, Gause, Milano, Rockdale and Thorndale.
