Easter sunrise service set at Liberty

Milam County Junior Livestock Show 2021

After a one-year absence because of COVID-19 restrictions the Milam County Junior Livestock Show roared back to life with an auction producing $224,225 for the competitors that were in the sale. That is the total before the added money is figured in, show officials said.

Restraining order issued against building owner

Hail producing storm hits Rockdale

Hail pelted Rockdale early Thursday morning. Rockdale had seven hail reports within 10 miles of the city center, according to stormersite.com. The largest report of hail near Rockdale was 2.75 inches about 12 years ago.

On Monday, vaccinations available to younger people
