RVFD fundraiser tickets now on sale

Tickets for the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department’s annual fund raising night at the KC Hall are now on sale, according to spokesman Mike Korenek. The fund raiser is set for May 15. Donors can get on the list by calling Korenek at 512-430-2315 or James McQuinn at 512-577-5715.

The Knights of Columbus Hall on US 79 was a popular place to catch some fish last Friday as cars lined up to buy containers of fried fish, coleslaw, pinto beans, hush puppies and a dessert delivered to them at the fish supper that will continue through Lent.
