Ag booster club holding online fundraiser

Milano/Gause Ag Booster Club is currently holding an online fundraiser to help support local 4-H and FFA projects at the upcoming Milam County Junior Livestock Show (MCJLS). Check out the group’s Facebook page for your chance to win great items.

The work on the buildings in the 200 block of East Cameron Avenue is completed. The buildings were painted two colors to emphasize the two buildings, and had wood and stucco work done.

Time is right to sign up for COVID-19 vaccinations

There has not been a better time to get on the vaccination list, urged County Judge Steve Young in his daily email. “We will vaccinate almost 1,100 individuals this week and this will deplete our waiting list. If you get on the list now, you could get vaccinated as early as next Tuesday,” he said.

Time for the over 50 age group to sign up for vaccinations

Last week Milam County administered a whopping 897 doses of the vaccine, Milam County Judge Steve Young said in his daily email.  "This was done over the course of two days and the most we have done in a 48 hour period to date.
