An estimated 70 vehicles—most containing more than one person—paraded around Renaissance Villa Saturday morning to support residents during the COVID-19 crisis. A large crowd of residents and staffers turned out to watch the parade which took several laps around the Dyer Street facility.

More than 70 vehicles, most with more than one person, paraded in front of residents at Renaissance Villa nursing facility Friday afternoon. The parade, which lapped the facility more than once, was designed to honor residents as they deal with the COVID-19 situation.

TOTAL GOES TO 18 DURING WEEKEND

 From County Judge Steve Young:Sunday:  We now have results on 12 of the 37 that were tested in Milano Wednesday fior COVID-19. One of those tests was positive. Again, the person is not hospitalized and is self-quarantined at home.

ANOTHER COVID-19 CASE IN MILAM

Milam County Judge Steve Young said Saturday there is a 17th confirmed case of COVID-19 in Milam County. He said the person was tested out-of-county and not at last Wednesday's testing in Milano. Young said the person was not hospitalized.
