Arrests clear cases

Rockdale Police cleared two cases from the previous week with arrests during the past seven days. Police made an arrest in connection with an incident in which they said a man trying to repossess a trailer was beaten on the face and arms with a fireplace implement.

During the month of May, we are highlighting our Milam County 4-H seniors graduating in 2020. We are so proud of these youth as they have worked very hard, for most of them, over 10 years in 4-H. They have competed in numerous competitions and have gained skills they will use their entire life.

Milam railroad museum staying closed for now

The Capital Area Mobile Food Pantry has been canceled for Gause this month. They will let us know when they will be returning. They suggest Gause people go to Rockdale. It is set for May 12 at the KC Hall in Rockdale. A reminder, Coats Grocery is open from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
