Under the direction of Bill Torrey, the Milam County District Attorney, the following felony cases were recently resolved in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th Judicial District Court:

NICK EVAN ANGEL, 49, of Rockdale, was sentenced to eight (8) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Tampering with Evidence

 

JIMMY JOHN BAKER, 37, of Cameron, was sentenced to five (5) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to 3rd Degree Felony, Stalking and was sentenced to one hundred eighty (180) days confinement in the Milam County Jail after pleading “True” to a Motion to Revoke Probation for a State Jail Felony, Endangering a Child

 

PAYDEN CHURCH, 30, of Lexington, was sentenced to five (5) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a 2nd Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance 4-200 Grams

 

OSCAR CARL WEDEMEIER, 38, of Rockdale, was sentenced to four (4) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Tampering

 

CHRISTOPHER ANDREW LOPEZ, , 28, of Rockdale, was sentenced to three (3) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Tampering

 

CODY ALLEN MARTIN, 30, of Rockdale, was sentenced to three (3) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance 1-4 Grams and was sentenced to three (3) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading “True” to a Motion to Revoke Probation for an original 2nd Degree Felony, Lesser Included Possession of Controlled Substance 4-200 Grams

 

ANTHONY BLAYNE BOYKIN, 22, of Milano, was sentenced to eight (8) years confinement in TDCJ by Judge Youngblood after pleading open to the court and having a sentencing hearing on the 2nd Degree Felony, Sexual Assault of Child

 

KIMBERLY DAWN WELTON, 52, of Rockdale, was placed on two (2) years Deferred Adjudication  and was ordered to pay $198 restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to a Lesser Included Class A Misdemeanor, Theft $750-$2,500

 

JUSTIN GLEN DRIVER, 21, of Rockdale, was sentenced to two (2) days confinement in the Milam County Jail and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a Lesser Included Class A Misdemeanor, Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram

 

 

 

MANUEL CASTILLO-RODRIGUEZ, 56, of Cameron, was placed on five (5) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine after pleading guilty to a 2nd Degree Felony, Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon – Threat

 

RAY ANTHONY FORD AKA ANTHONY RAY TAYLOR, 33, of Rockdale, was placed on five (5) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation, including the successful completion of Advanced Anger Management Classes and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Continuous Violence Against the Family

 

WILLIE JOE BELL, III, 30, of Cameron, was placed on three (3) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation, including the successful completion of Advance Anger Management classes and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence with Previous Convictions

 

JENNIFER ASHTEN STRELSKY-WOODS, 37, of Rockdale, was placed on five (5) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fien and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a 2nd Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance 4-200 Grams

 

AMANDA MARIE WARREN, 37, of Rockdale, was sentenced to eighteen (18) months confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading “True” to a Motion to Revoke Probation for an original State Jail Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram

 

CASEY BRANDON ALLEN, 42, of Thorndale, was sentenced to thirteen (13) months confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading “True” to a Motion to Revoke Probation for an original State Jail Felony, Attempt to Take Weapon from Peace Officer

 

DARON BENJAMIN NELSON, 35, of Waco, was sentenced to ten (10) years confinement in TDCJ, probated for six (6) years with standard conditions of probation including the successful completion of SAFP and was ordered to pay a $3,000 fine and $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to a 2nd Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance 4-200 Grams

 

BRIAN LEE ALLEN, 42, of Killeen, was sentenced to two (2) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a 2nd Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance 4-400 Grams

 

MIGUEL ANGEL LUNA, 25, of Cameron, was placed on two (2) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a Lesser Included Class A Misdemeanor, Possession of Marijuana < 4 oz

 

JENNIFER RENEE HAMILTON, 40, of Rockdale, was placed on three (3) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $500 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram

 

ADRIAN ISREAL HERRERA, 20, of Milano, was placed on two (2) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay $1,000 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a Class A Misdemeanor, Lesser Included Attempted Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram

 

JAMES PATRICK CLAYTON ASHMORE, 28, of Rockdale, was placed on three (3) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay $3,853 to the victim after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Theft $2,500 - $30K

 

TRISTAN NATHANIEL PECOS, 27, of Caldwell, was placed on three (3) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance less then One Gram

 

LAURA MICHELLE COSTILLA AKA LAURA MICHELLE GRIMALDO, 49, of Rockdale, was placed on three (3) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram

 

CARON LYNN GAINES, 46, of Cameron, was placed on three (3) years Deferred Adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance 1-4 Grams

 

ERIK CORREA-CHAVEZ, 26, of Maxwell, Texas, was sentenced to seventy (70) days confinement in the Milam County Jail after pleading guilty to a Class A Misdemeanor, Attempted Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram

 

REBEKKA DYANE KRUSE, 35, of Milano, was sentenced to thirty-seven (37) days confinement in the Milam County Jail after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Credit or Debit Card Abuse

 

SHEREBA ANN WEBBER, 42, of Cameron, was sentenced to two (2) years confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ, probated for four (4) years with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,000 fine and $180 restitution to the DPS lab after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance Less than One Gram

 

JORGE LUIS MELENDEZ, 49, of Ft. Worth, was sentenced to twelve (12) months confinement in the Milam County Jail after pleading guilty to a Lesser Included Class A Misdemeanor, Driving While Intoxicated 2nd

 

 

PHILLIP RANCE BENNETT AKA PHILLIP RANCE FARRIS, 38, of Rockdale, was sentenced to sixty (60) days in the Milam County Jail after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Possession of Controlled Substance less than One Gram

 

SEDRICK DEON SMOOT, 49, of Crockett, was sentenced to three hundred sixty-five (365) days confinement in the Milam County Jail, probated for twenty-four (24) months with standard conditions of DWI repeat offender including ignition interlock device and was ordered to pay a $4,000 fine and $60 restitution to DPS lab after pleading guilty to a Class A Misdemeanor, Lesser Including Driving While Intoxicated 2nd

 

TRAVIS GLEN LEWIS BEARD, 47, of Austin, was sentenced to twenty-four (24) months confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle; and was sentenced to twenty-four (24) months confinement in the State Jail Division of TDCJ after pleading guilty to a State Jail Felony,  Burglary of Building.  Mr. Beard was sentenced to two separate counts of Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle and a total of 4 counts of Burglary of Building.

 

 

DARNELL BENSON, JR., 30, of Rockdale, was sentenced to five (5) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony, Evading with Vehicle
