Belton Lake

Water stained; 87–91 degrees; 4.00’ low. Black bass are good on watermelon seed crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Hybrid striper are good on live shad. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies. Crappie are fair on minnows under lights at night in 18 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on stink-bait, doughbait, and hot dogs in 6 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

Granger Lake

Water stained; 87–91 degrees; 0.42’ low. Black bass are fair on jigs upriver. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and pink tube jigs in 12–15 feet. Blue catfish are good on juglines baited with shad and cut bait. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch and goldfish.

Lake Bastrop

Water stained; 88–92 degrees. Black bass are good on chartreuse spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are very good on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

Stillhouse Hollow Reserve

Water murky; 87–91 degrees; 6.79’ low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red and green pumpkin soft plastics. White bass are fair on minnows and Li’l Fishies. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on doughbait, chicken livers, and chicken bloodbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
