The poppies have put on their show, and now they’re ready to share their seeds.
Little River Basin Master Gardeners will be at the Triangle Demonstration Garden, located at North Washington Avenue and East 21st Street in Cameron, across from the junior high school soccer fields, on Wednesday, May 28, at 9 a.m., and allow the public to scoop up some seeds for your own patch of poppies. It’s a great way to connect with neighbors and enjoy a peaceful moment in nature.
Little River Basin Master Gardeners, celebrating their 20th year in Milam County, will be on hand to help with the harvesting and answer any gardening questions you may have. All are welcome. Baggies for seeds will be provided.
