Garden club adds two new members
Members of the Crown Garden Club held their September meeting at the home of Jimette Fatheree, club president, with Nancy Marburger serving as co-hostess.
The meeting was held on the patio for safety even though all members had been vaccinated for COVID-19. Members had not met since the beginning of the pandemic and enjoyed visiting and “catching up.”
Two new members were welcomed into the club, Claudia Surovik and Lois Rash.
In other business Mrs. Marburger was unanimously elected to the office of treasurer. The hostesses served an array of foods including a choice of flavors of homebaked pies.
The October meeting will be hosted by Michelle Fletcher and Mrs. Surovik at the Fletcher home.
