CAMERON—Twelve persons were sentenced in recent 20th District Court activity, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey, who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Derrick Anthony Jacobs, 24, Cameron, was sentenced to eight years confinement in Texas Department of Criminal Justice after pleading guilty to a second degree felony, indecency with a child by contact, and was sentenced to eight years confinement in Texas Department of Criminal Justice after pleading guilty to a third degree felony, assault causes bodily injury–family violence with previous convictions.

• Wesley Wade War-rick, 47, Cameron, was sentenced to five years confinement in Texas Department of Criminal Justice after pleading guilty to a third degree felony, forgery government document, and was also sentenced to five years for a third degree felony, bail jumping–fail to appear.

• Austin Blair Rydell, 52, Rockdale, was sentenced to three years confinement in Texas Department of Criminal Justice after pleading guilty to a third degree felony, bail jumping–fail to appear.

• Mike Anthony Kelly, 50, Hearne, was sentenced to two years confinement in the state jail division of Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated for two years and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and $1,729.48 to the victim after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, criminal mischief ($1,500-$20,000).

• Johnathen Wayne Maxwell, 34, Thorndale, was placed on two years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation including advanced anger management classes and was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine after pleading guilty to a third degree felony, assault family violence–impede breathing.

• Travis Scott Johnson, 25, Lexington, was placed on 15 months deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $750 fine after pleading guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, attempted taking wildlife resources without consent.

• Courtney Brianna Jefferson, 23, Houston, was placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of felony substance abuse probation, and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine, after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Juan Marvin Garcia, 31, Conroe, was placed on three years deferred adjudication with standard conditions of probation and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $180 restitution to Department of Public Safety lab after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).

• Britt Allen O’Brien, 56, Rockdale, was sentenced to 10 years confinement in Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated for five years with standard conditions of probation including advanced anger management classes, and was ordered to pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a second degree felony, assault family violence–impede breathing/ circulation with previous family violence conviction.

• Benjamin Yadah Tatroe, 21, Rockdale, was sentenced to 32 days confinement in the Milam County Jail after pleading “true” to a motion to revoke probation for a Class A misdemeanor, publish intimate visual material.

• David Doyle Hair, 36, Georgetown, was sentenced to 338 days confinement in the Milam County Jail for a state jail felony, theft (less than $2,500) with priors which was prosecuted as a Class A misdemeanor.

• Jennifer Yvon Guelker, 31, Milano, was sentenced to 18 months confinement in the state jail division of Texas Department of Criminal Justice and was ordered to pay $180 in restitution to the Department of Public Safety lab after pleading guilty to a state jail felony, possession of controlled substance (less than one gram).
