Rockdale mom again charged with child injury

For the second time in 18 months a Rockdale woman has been charged with injuring one of her children. Lt. Stephen Goodrich said Michelle Marie Reese, 22, turned herself in Thursday on a warrant alleging injury to a child. She was released after posting $8,000 bond. Lt.

City, county still ‘in the red’

After an improvement in October, the City of Rock-dale and Milam County are back “in the red” on sales tax receipts. The Rockdale Municipal Development District, however, posted gains both for the month and year-to-date. State Comptroller Glenn Hegar disbursed October sales tax checks last week.

4-Hers place at major shows

Milam County 4-H Plant Identification teams competed at the State Fair of Texas and placed very high as follows: First-place senior team, Mason Lindig, Heath Hollas, Kaylee Jackson, Rebecca Kostroun.
