William L. Moore, a native and long-time resident of Griffin Chapel commu nity in Milam Count y, pa s s e d away on Feb. 26, 2025, at the age of 97.

The family will receive visitors at 10 a.m. Saturday, Mr. Moore March 8, at Pecan Street Church of Christ in Rockdale, with services following at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow the services at Oak Lawn Cemetery.

William worked at the Alcoa aluminum plant in Rockdale for almost 38 years. He retired in 1991.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie B. Moore.

He is survived by his daughters, Doris Moore and Catherine Moore.

Pa l lbearers w i l l be Mayson Gibbons, Kendall Clayton, Darrel Moore, Jordan Melton, Jason Gibbons and Douglas Melton.
