Winners in the annual Rockdale Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center lighting contest have been announced as follows:
RESIDENTIAL DIVISION Best overall—503 East Bell, Gerald and Tammy Stephenson and Dylan Diestel. Best lights—205 Bowser, Paul and Susan Rodersheimer. Best whimsical—703 Vogel, Tim and Glenda Guthrie, Caitlin Ivins, Calvin Ivins. Best traditional—151 Northwood Circle, Jennifer Erman and Mitch Harty. Most animated—Glenda Wiley, 1504 Pecos.
BUSINESS DIVISION Best overall—Charming Blossoms, 117 East Cameron (US 79). Best storefront—Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library, 201 Ackerman. Best lights—Citizens National Bank, 140 E. Cameron.
Judging was Sunday, Dec. 9. Winners gathered Thursday at the Chamber’s Rock House Headquarters to receive their certificates. See photo page 2A.
