SAYING ‘GOOD-BYE’—Mayor John King (center) did the honors before Monday’s city council session as the city bid farewell to a pair of retiring council members. Willie Phillips (R) was the council’s senior member, serving six terms, and a total of 18 years, as east ward councilman. Colby Fisher completed two terms (six years) as a west ward member. Each received a plaque and ceremonial “keys to the city,” which Mayor King emphasized “don’t actually open anything.”
