Active cases drop; positivity rate at 25%

There are 17 new active cases to report. Five new PCR cases and twelve new antigen cases. Four PCR cases and seven antigen cases were discharged from the active list. We now have 134 active infections is the county, just under the record of 142 set last Friday. In addition, two individuals were admitted to local hospitals. There were 28 people tested in Thorndale on Tuesday with seven positive results. In the past 21 days of testing, 829 individuals in Milam County have been tested with 211 positive results with a positivity rate of 25%.
Today's testing in Milano is at the Milano VFD. Milam County residents with COVID symptoms can get a free COVID antigen test.
