Annual Ruck and Ride is Saturday

At Saturday’s Ruck and Ride there will be events to honor Milam County fallen heroes and their families. There will be a ruck/walk for eight miles at 9 a.m. starting at the Cameron Fire Station and heading to Denio’s Furniture along the 2nd Lt. Darryn Dean Andrews Memorial Highway.
Then at 10 a.m., at the Brookshire Brothers in Rockdale, motorcycle riders will gather and ride along the Master Sgt. Charles Price III Memorial Highway.
A lunch provided by Brookshire Brothers will begin at 11 a.m. in the Cameron Fire Station where all participants will meet to honor Gold Star Families and the fallen heros.
