Job fair for county graduating seniors

Tuesday will provide a good opportunity to find work in Milam County when the Workforce Solutions, under the direction of Julia Cordona, will hold a job fair for graduating high school seniors at the Patterson Center at 109 Mill Street in Rockdale from 1p.m. to 3 p.m. 

A lot of Milam County employers will be in attendance, including, but not limited to: Milam County Sherriff’s Department; Perry & Perry Builders; Durcon; S.W.A.T.; Charlotte Pipe and Foundry; Texas Electrical Services; Legacy Nursing Home; Whinstone;  Spherion/AIS; FJC Personnel; City of Rockdale; Winnie L Nursing Facility; Hart Components; Mine Services; Rockdale Rehabilitation Center; and Butler Weldments.

In addition, Workforce Solutions will have all of the information of the many, many training programs that a young person can enroll in to get training to land a good job.
