MARCHING CONTEST—On Oct. 16 the RHS Big Blue Band participated in the UIL Region Marching Contest at the Giddings HS Stadium. The band was awarded a Division 2 (Excellent) rating from the judges. “The band had a great competitive season by earning superior and excellent ratings from judges at three different contests this season. We are very proud of our students for their hard work,” said Adrian Acevedo, RISD Director of Bands.
