Milam County records 77th COVID death

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I regret to report our 77th COVID-19 related death of a Milam County resident. Please encourage vaccinations! Although our numbers are down, people will continue to die if not vaccinated.

Today we have 12 new cases to report and no discharged cases to report, with a total of 31 confirmed, active cases of the virus in Milam County. There were no new hospital admissions. 

 

Current Numbers:

2049 total cases

16 active cases (plus 4)

 

1623 Probable cases (Antigen detected test results, not included in total case count)

15 Active cases (plus 8)

 

31 confirmed active cases in Milam County

 

329 total hospitalized

5 currently hospitalized (no change)

77 fatalities (plus 1)

 

Five (5) individual(s) hospitalized is in serious condition (vents)

 

25 total vaccines administered

3 Moderna: 2 - second and 1 - additional doses

22 Pfizer: 5 - first and 17 - second doses

20 Students: 5 - first and 15 - second doses.

 

18 COVID tests administered today in Cameron, with 6 positives or 33.3%.
