Thorndale ISD held a pep rally-style groundbreaking ceremony for its new high school east of the football field on Friday. According to superintendent Zack Kleypas work will begin immediately and the class of 2027, who are currently sophomores, will be the first to graduate from the new school. Thorndale School Board members on hand for the ceremony are (L-R) Kleypas, Kimberly Jordan, Kirk Becker, Ann Glenn, Adam Fisher, Taylor Rowe, Kimberly Blair and David Hall. Below is an architect’s rendering of what the school will look like when finished.
