Summer aviation fun at the airport
Are you interested in aviation?
Kent Givens and Jimmy Cox will hold get-togethers on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. throughout the summer for both adults and kids.
“We’ll talk about airplanes and maybe even go flying,” Givens said.
Cox already has a hands-on workshop for kids age nine and above on Saturdays at 9 a.m. in which they build an airplane with adult supervision.

First Friday Coffee at library June 2nd First Friday Coffee at the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library will be held on Friday, June 2.

Main Street Bookstore was to open Wednesday Main Street Bookstore was to have had a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
