The 22nd annua l MARC Ride, which funds MARC, is scheduled for June 10 at The Ranch. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and there will be a live auction after the ride at 4 p.m. with a meal provided for the riders.
There will be awards for the oldest rider, oldest bike, youngest rider and MARC consumers’ choice.
Stops along with way include Cindy’s Hawg Hangout, Nat’s, Cliff’s Tavern, the VFW Hall and back to The Ranch.
Short sleeved t-shirts are available for $20.

A day of fun for the whole family is being sponsored by RIOT at Fair Park on June 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be food, music, bitcoin seminars, kids’ activities and more. Entry fee is $5 which will be donated to charity.
Bulk waste pickup set for June 14th
T he C it y of Ro c kdale will hold a free bulk waste curbside pick-up on Wednesday, June 14.
City residents, with active water and or trash accounts, who have bulk items for disposal should contact City Hall at 512446-2511 by Wednesday, June 7 at 4 p.m. to get on their list. They will need your name, address, daytime phone number and a brief description of the items to be removed.
