Pre-K is inviting parents to read virtually to their classes.

 

Kindergarten is inviting community members to do a video conference reading a career related book and discuss their day to day on the job activities.  

 

First Grade is inviting parents to read to virtually to their classrooms

 

Second grade will take a virtual tour of the Train Depot

 

Second grade will listen to a story and some experiences from a Navy Veteran.

  • Monday, March 8th: Hats off to Rockdale ISD. Students wear a favorite hat to school.
  • Tuesday: We’re Wild about Rockdale ISD:Students wear Tie Dye.
  • Wednesday: RISD Teams up for Success: Wear favorite college or professional team gear.
  • Thursday: Public Schools are our Future: Students dress like their future career.
  • Friday: We are lucky to go to school in Rockdale, Texas: Students wear their St.Patrick's Day attire early to start spring break off with some good luck.

No Place For Hate promise will be on the school marquee all week:

  I promise to do my best to treat everyone fairly.

  I promise to do my best to be kind to everyone,

  even if they are not like me.

  If I see someone being hurt or bullied,

  I will report it to a teacher.

  Everyone should be able to feel safe and happy at school.

  I want our school to be No Place for Hate!
