Testing resumes after holiday break

There was not had a lot of reporting over the holiday from our medical providers. However, there are six new probable cases to report.  Twenty-nine cases were discharge over the break, including nine PCR cases and twenty probable cases.  There were no new hospital admissions.

 

Today there is testing in Rockdale at the former Rockdale Hospital from 8 a.m. –to 3 p.m.  If you are a Milam County resident with COVID symptoms go by for a free COVID antigen test. 

 

The state will conduct free testing today, also, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Milano fire station for anyone, with or without symptoms.  This will be a PCR test, which will be sent to a lab for results.

  1. Confirmed PCR cases 643- no change
  2. Confirmed active PCR cases 21 down 7
  3. Confirmed probable (antigen) cases 243 – up 6
  4. Confirmed active probable cases 43 – down 10
  5. Total confirmed cases in Milam County 64 – down 19
  6. Monitored individuals 190 – no change
  7. Hospitalizations 2 – no change
  8. Deaths 9 – no change
