Dear editor,
We moved here from Arizona because of health problems. While living in Arizona, my wife and I had concealed carry weapon permits for Arizona, Utah and Nevada.
Since we moved to Texas, we have acquired concealed carry weapon permits. I think everyone but convicted felons and people diagnosed with mental health problems should be allowed to carry a weapon.
On the abortion issue, I think that sperm donors should not have any control over a woman’s or girls reproductive decisions until they carry a watermelon strapped to their middle for several months and then have at the end of nine months some type of pain induced method for the pain a woman endears when delivering.
It is surprising how many men and boys can take advantage of women and girls but still can walk away from the consequences or responsibilities.
I am not for abortion as a means of birth control, but rape or health problems for the woman or unborn child it should be available.
Headlines on KXXV television news stated “Texas sues to stop a rule that shields medical records of women who seek abortions elsewhere.”
I do not think the government has a right to tell a woman or girl what she can do with her body.
So many governed by so few.
