The 40th annual Rockdale Open will be played on Saturday at Veterans Park.
According to adult tournament director Sparky Thomason, there will be a round robin tournament for the men’s doubles and the mixed doubles.
There are also two teams in the girls doubles.
“We have a few players from the Rockdale area,” Thomason said. “There have also been a few from the Shiner area since we had a friend put out the word over there.”
There will no youth tournament this year due to few entries.
