The win streak continues in Thorndale. The Bulldog basketball team is still undefeated after winning against both Bartlett and Holland.

The Bartlett Bulldogs came to town last Tuesday night and left with a 68-44 loss.

Key players in this victory were Jacob Jackson with 22 points and 10 rebounds, Jayden Clawson 11 points, six rebounds and 10 steals and Braden Pickel had 11 points and nine rebounds.

Thorndale then went to Holland on Friday night and beat the Hornets 44-38.

Standout players were Kaden Kovar with 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Jacob Jackson 13 points and five rebounds and Braden Pickel had eight points and 10 rebounds.

COMING UP— The regular season is coming to a close for the Bulldogs. They have three more games—Hearne at home on Tuesday, Milano at home on Friday and then rival Thrall in Thrall on Feb. 13 with a 6:15 p.m. start time.

Come on, Bulldogs finish the job!

Lady Bulldogs

The Lady Dogs split their games last week. They lost a heart-breaker against Bartlett 26-22 in front of the home crowd and then beat Holland in overtime on the road. The final score was Thorndale 47, Bartlett 45.

Brook Amidon had nine points, Emily Northcott had nine points, five steals and five assists, Emily Reeves gave the Lady Dogs seven points, 11 rebounds and three steals. Bethany Peruses had nine points on the night, 11 rebounds and three steals.

Head Lady Dog Basketball Coach Doug Franklin said, “Morgan Rabel played very well against Holland, she did things that don’t show up on the stat sheet, a lot of great passing. On defense she distracted shooters, caused deflections and block outs.”

COMING UP— The Lady Dogs were to finish out the regular season at home against Hearne on Tuesday.

Milano Eagles

The Milano Eagles d ropped t hei r game against Hearne last Tuesday night at home. The final was 51-42. This was their only game last week. The Eagles have not won a district game all year.

Times are good for the Milano Lady Eagles basketball team. They are 10-1 in district play (second place) after their last two wins against Holland and Hearne.

Last week the Lady Eagles went to Holland and picked up a win against the Hornets, 56-50, before hosting the Hearne Eagles and beating them 63-22.

COMING UP— Milano was set to play their final regular season game Tuesday on the road against rival Thrall. The Tigers are 11-0 in district and in first place.
