The Rockdale Astros started the Texas Teenage Baseball 8U Coach Pitch State Tournament this week in Temple.
The District 5 runner-up got off to a hot start on Monday night with a 16-8 win on Monday night over the Mildred Eagles.
The ‘Stros had Tuesday night off but play the Bosqueville Aces on Wednesday after press time.
