Lady Tiger junior Julie Bartsch was named to the Texas Sportswriters Associaton’s All-State third team on Saturday.
Bartsch was an instrumental part of the Blue-and-Gold’s success this season, particularly after senior hitter Haven Jimenez suffered a season-ending injury on Sept. 24. She concluded her junior season with 507 kills, 71 blocks, 47 aces and a .342 hitting percentage.
The three-sport athlete was also named to the All-Brazos Valley third team by The Bryan Eagle.
