The THS Bulldogs continued their great start to the season as they went 1-1 this past week.
On Friday, The Bulldogs traveled to Weimar to face a tough Wildcat squad. The Bulldogs played a tough game, but fell 46-36. Logan Davis led the Bulldogs with 15 points. Other scoring performances included: Chance Betak 11, Jake Ivy 4, Cayden Nicholson 3, Dean Johnson 2 and Blake Roberts 1.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs came back to the win column as they defeated the Lake Belton Broncos 61-41. Johnson was the top scorer for the Bulldogs with 18 points. Other scorers included: Betak 17, Davis 10, Roberts 6, Ivy 5, Garrett Bernstein 3 and Nicholson 2.
Tuesday’s game against Rockdale was canceled as the Tigers announced they will be under quarantine due to COVID-19.
The Bulldogs are now 4-2 on the season. They will look to keep their strong season going as get ready to face the Cameron Yoemen on Friday at home.
