Bulldogs cage Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY—The Thorndale Bulldogs got their first district win on the road last week against Johnson City. The final score was Thorndale 40, Johnson City 13.

The Bulldogs are now 5-4 overall and 1-2 in district play. This victory puts Thorndale in third place in their district with winless Johnson City and Harper behind them and undefeated teams like Mason and San Saba ahead of them, along with second place Holland who is 2-1.

THIS WEEK— T he Bulldogs will travel to Harper this Friday. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

Thorndale’s final game will be against Holland on Nov. 8.

With wins against these two teams the Bulldogs will be positioning themselves for a return to the playoffs.
