The Thorndale Bulldogs lost on the road Friday night to the Riesel Pirates. The final score was Riesel 26, Thorndale 0.
It was a tough loss and the Bulldogs played better than what is reflected in the score. The defense is settling in and the offense needs to come up with drives that generate points. While the defense played well they could not prevent the Pirates from scoring in every quarter of the game.

Athletic Director and Head Football Coach John Kovar said, “These kids have a great attitude, they keep showing up. We are looking forward to a week of great practices and a game at home on Friday. We are going to improve each week, we just need some more experience. We need to get healthy.”
STANDOUTS— Bulldog Gunner Ferguson played hard with six completions out of 11 attempts. He ended the night with 41 yards of passing and 20 yards of rushing. Junior Noah Crabtree led the team in rushing with 35 yards. Senior center ensive lineman Kaleb Yount also played well.
