THORNDALE-The Thorndale Bull dogs hosted the Leon Cougars in a scrimmage on Friday night. The Bulldogs were victorious with a final of 3-1.
Bulldogs Caden Kovar and Gunner Ferguson shared time at the quarterback position and played to their individual strengths.
Standout players from Friday night’s competition include junior receiver Jayden Clauson, the entire offen sive line and junior running back Noah Crabtree.
“We have a tough district,” said head football coach John Kovar. “As a coaching staff we are working hard at putting our kids in the best possible positions so they can succeed.”
“We scrimmage Chilton this Thursday and are working hard at getting better and staying injury free for the regular season,” the coach added.
